And the "vocal fry" thing that girls do. It is NOT sexy, it is irritating. My advice to these girls: Just be normal. Don't try so hard.

Yes, I'm GenX. You're obviously one of the many good Millennials. Vocal fry has spread to guys now. Can they hear themselves? I'm not sure if they're trying too hard or not enough. Sometimes I think it's a result of being too lazy to open their air passage enough to speak properly, half asleep snore talking.
