Actually, his non-violent confrontation was on point. After 15 seconds into the video I wanted to bodyslam the flag stealer. The victim remained calm and reasonable. When he asked him why he hated him, he had no rational answer. When he assaulted him, he asked him to stop and then when threatened with injury he neutralized the threat. Flag Stealer then told him he deserved it. He wasn't afraid of the flag stealer, he was exposing his irrational position and behavior. Perfect metaphor for the Canadian government right now.

I don’t disagree in principle, but the guy was too quick to rely on police, something I wouldn’t want to teach my child in today’s world. Maybe in the days of Andy Griffith, but police aren’t our friends. We saw that in the black lives matter riots, and we are seeing it in Canada. We will see it more and more in the coming years. They are “only doing their jobs.”

He could have been calling the police to show that they were non to assist. I have seen hundreds of antifa attacking people videos without police intervention until the instant someone fights back. There had to have been a police officer within shouting distance.

The victim wanted youtube views and advert revenue. Most normal people wouldn't let that flag stealer move more than 20 feet before he got what was coming to him.

The general approach people are following right now is "just get everything on video". The real battles are currently being fought in court, and the courts don't have an appetite for anyone who is visibly violent.

Also a plausible explanation of his motivation. I cannot be sure he only wanted to expose the hypocrisy of the flag stealer. Those who buy into the government propaganda truly believe they have the moral ground.

Lol....Laying in a snowbank looking at the sky with a broken ankle "I deserved this"

Hear hear. If at any point the person filming had lost their cool, or administered a beating, then things would have gone differently. Instead there is a video that even normals can look at and side with us.

Thats how you win a debate, or a war. Winning a fight is peanuts
