Quickly checked into this. It says Judaea (Judea) was a thing from 6-66AD. Which is well past the original Judeans. While this clearly creates confusion, as both could be referenced as Judeans, they are in fact distinctly different things. Though the confusion may well imply your distinction (Judahites) is worthy moving forward. That said, you're the first person I've run into who called me out for the potential confusion.
If I've missed the mark, once again, please clarify.
