This reminds me of when we got some local drug store chain's cola when I was a kid. It tasted pretty bad, and I noticed they were bragging about no sodium on the label. So I decided to mix in a pinch of salt. The result was amazing. It made it taste like a good, store-brand cola. It didn't taste salty at all. It's like the salt just brought out the cola flavor instead.
