In my opinion the best series on Backrooms is by Kane Pixels. It keeps things relatively grounded, only using the original concept without adding nonsense like "levels" or all sorts of "entities". It's just an infinite span of yellowish office rooms that the government wants to use for storage (at least that's how it's being pitched by the company that punched a hole into the fabric of existence and created a doorway to another dimension). This series feels very authentic and real despite being mostly made with 3d animation, and the direction is superb despite being produced by a 16 year old kid at the time! Give it a watch by all means.
