It's pretty much like cancer, slowly then all of a sudden, so I'm certainly not the one going to rule out the scenario you just described I would also add that, there are people of influence, who always have been interested in that final conflict situation you're describing, and not just only to cover their tracks or to make a profit or to finish off white people. Some are into it for literal apocalyptic reasons, because that's how you get a messiah and/or jesus christ comes back... It may sound crazy but you have to be crazy to desire that final conflict so all in all...
