All divergent groups will continue to evolve after diverging. Only when they have diverged enough that they can't breed is it logical to call them separate species. That hasn't happenes with humans. Obviously populations which were segregated for thousands of years evolved separately. That does not disprove out of africa. Don't be gullible.
That white people have a common ancestor with other humans is not debateable. That ancestor lived in africa. That has not been challenges by new data, or by this paper.
That we have a common ancestor does not make us the same.
You should research sloths species that have evolved independently. There appears to be patterns in how life evolves, and a close common ancestor is not needed.
