Women with Rh negative blood (blood that lacks a similarity with rhesus monkey blood) cannot typically have babies with Rh positive blood males as the woman's immune system sees the fetus as a parasite/invader. The blood isn't even compatible!

Rh negative mother's immune system sees the proteins on an Rh positive fetuses blood and treats them as an infection.
