Do you just have no experience behind the wheel?
Last time, when traveling at high speed i.e. 60+MPH you cover ground fairly quickly, if you see a small object up ahead in your lane you assume it's in motion. Should you take your eyes off the road for 5-6 seconds, say to look at the litany of flashing lights on the other side of the road you will find yourself on top of that previously small object you thought was moving.
Your comparison about rear ending someone doesn't apply because there was NO VISIBLE LIGHTING, the ramp being down prevents seeing the tail / brake / hazard lights. Emergency vehicles are held to a higher standard than a disabled motorist.
No one other than you is struggling with this concept, it is why lights and safety equipment are mandated in the first place. The tow truck driver ignored all of this and it's his responsibility. By law stopped vehicles in the roadway are a hazard.
Are you really implying that istead of her not paying attention to what was in front of her, you also would've done the exact same thing 'bc it had no safety lights and warning cones. God damn talk about dumbed down - no wonder there are warning labels to not drink petrol or 'Coffee is hot'.
I'm not implying anything but rather refusing to engaging in your argument because you are wrong, no court would ever agree with you, and you are unable to comprehend basic traffic situations that every driver has experienced.
You also appear to be unable to understand concepts like line of sight and velocity.
I'll leave you and your well earned flair as I've got better shit to do. Best of luck with your "I'm ultra chad and everyone else is stupid LARP".
concepts like line of sight and velocity.
Watch the cops body cam that was over by the fire tender who was first to run over to the car - the road is straight for hundreds and hundreds of feet.
You're actually suggesting if a brick wall was put in her lane - how could she avoid it if there's no lights and traffic cones. Inattention and distracted.
Seriously , someone has got to be some kind of goofy to run into a stationary vehicle from over two miles away and not realize it hasnt actually moved and you're just continually getting closer and closer to it. It didnt just appear out of nowhere.
but sure defend away.
EDIT: no much different to a rubber necker at an accident scene running up the back end of a stopped vehicle . ''Reeeeee the vehicle in front didn't have lights on'.
