Can I have my 35 seconds back?

just a piece of the charcoal factory... I was thinking it was gonna be a spic-head or something

More likely was part of a tree, but, I was hoping for some wasps or black widows all over OP’s face and hands. I want that even more after watching this.

No, you lost those. Sorry m8.

Ah, man. It's getting worse the more you read these replies. You're bleeding seconds here that you're gonna want back.

Imagine if your life was so soft that you felt the need to post something so trivial on the internet. I'm sure that equipment made from metal is involved in the making of charcoal.

Imagine knowing how everyone functions. I don't envy you.

Thank you, I know. It's a hard burden to bear...

Food processing factories have massive electromagnets before the packaging sections just to catch stuff like this. I can understand not bothering with charcoal plants, but if customers send in complaints with the metal they find, they might just start adding them for quality control. Most metal is probably harmless in a grill, but you never know, and it shouldn't be getting in there.

Ive been using "Jealous Devil All Natural Hardwood Lump Charcoal". Have you tried it or can compare it against Royal Oak?

Ive never had a problem like that but as others have said, that looks like something broke off on the production line and ended up in the bag. Given that you dont eat the coal its probably not that big of a deal unless it has some nasty coatings on it that could fuck with your food while its heated.

Nah, I didn't figure it would be a problem. I still grilled with it. Just never got a bit of machine in my charcoal bag before.

Ive found a left-over nail or two a couple of times but that has not happened in ages. I think they have put things in place to keep that from happening as much.

I had brick pieces in some lump wood charcoal. Maybe part of the kiln, dunno.
