Granted, the testing in this video was done on commercial as opposed to consumer toilets. I don't ever touch the toilet more than necessary in public.

I do however close the lid on my own before flushing. Especially in the bathroom where by toothbrush is kept. Thoughts?

Have for over 40 years. We settled it as newlyweds, with the seat up/seat down business. Looked at how it was made and decided, seat down with lid closed, so everyone knows how they'll find the toilet. No more pee on the seat or asses falling into the bowl. Taught the kid to do it, too. Also keeps the dog from drinking out of it. Not having aerosolized toilet water all over was an added bonus.

This is the way. I started doing this decades ago when the lid was up and I fumbled something and it ended up falling in the bowl. Never again. I'll get after guests even.

For real!👍Looks better, (especially with a lid cover), is more sanitary, and no surprises! 😄

all great points, and

asses falling into the bowl.

oh I have done that to myself once or twice! lmao
