I did not know that programmable outlet thermostats exist. There is another problem though. Most of these “smart” “digital” heaters will not function as a dumb heater. Usually you plug them in and they do nothing until you press some buttons to put them into a heating mode. My current space heater is like this. The first time a programmable outlet cuts the power and turns it back on the digital heater will revert to standby mode. You have to make sure you get a dumb heater.
