Australia is trying as hard as it can to turn into what Argentina was 5 years ago. The voting system is rigged and much of the population of the cities seem to have some sort of Stockholm Syndrome and keep voting for the socialists (really they're Communists). We're looking down the barrel of land taxes and unrealised capital gains tax now. Farmers and small business owners are officially fucked.
