Hold them to account by not buying that shit. Diversity in everything helps. Don’t get a credit card from your bank. Don’t get web services from your domain name provider. Don’t combine services from the same vendor. They track and know too much about you. That goes for TV’s just said that about the electronics in washers and fridges. Get a dumb tv if you can, if you can’t get a tv with its own “apps and service” never connect to WiFi. Diversify the tracking and get an Apple TV, Roku, tvbox of any type. Then the tv becomes just a monitor. Mind you, you will pay 3x for a LCD without the Amazon fire or Roku marketing kickback. Fire TV’s in the 65” flavor are like $300, non smart are like 900. Never get a Roku tv built in if you use Roku. If the tv ages and can’t update to the newer Roku os, it won’t work with a newer Roku stick. The remote keeps activating the built in. Diversify.
