Which one? The pilot or the bombardier? One can’t be both. I think your trying to say that both the bombardier and a pilot from the Memphis Bell where on the lead B-29? Why not? The USAAF was not going to waste its most experienced crew members and send them home when there was a whole other war needing to be fought and won.
