Just to clarify- military personnel were kept in Stalags, the Luftwaffe had their own. A Konzetrationlager was different.

No. PoW camps were very different. A lot of lies were told regarding Concentration camps. I've read a lot of WWI & WWII history, and talked to survivors. They don't fabricate much about PoW camps, esp. the Japanese ones. Remember, there was a great deal of difference between Allegemine & Waffen SS.
