I agree bro. I wouldn't have even just a year ago, but the reaction to kung-flu has been sheer madness. The worst part is that we've gone along with it.
Yeah same here. I was shaking my head at the stupidity of people, but that stupidity is what really compounded the effects. Those same stupid selfish bastards are going to cause a shit load of death when it's not TP we're hunting for.
Yeah, it's important to form your tribe now. Community will be the only thing to get each other through. Back when the coof first started I had already stocked up when people were laughing it off. Then March hits and the tp goes, then hand sanitizer etc. I gave little parcels to each of my neighbors- TP, hand sanitizer, (i thought it might have been the real thing back then) some n95's, gloves, bacon- things that were sold out everywhere. Since I bought it before it went to shit, it probably cost me no more than $25/ gift package but the good will I earned was fucking priceless.
Since then, I can't tell you how many dinner invites, bbqs, unrequested baked goods we received. We know we can count on each other.
That's beautiful man. Good thinking, because yeah, you can't survive long alone. This is my problem right now, I have absolutely nobody in my life that seems to acknowledge what may be happening. I have family but they're more the live in a McMansion and follow fox jews types, it causes a bit of anxiety lol.
