However, states like CA already have [trouble](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oroville_Dam_crisis) maintaining existing large infrastructure. Plus our electrical grid will need lots of advancement to deal with storing power in PSH and then drawing power from it in cycles every 12 hours (for solar). Furthermore, the elements within batteries, electric motors (and generators), as well as photovoltaics are mostly mined and refined in China with great environmental damage. All these are solvable problems, but an administration that is focused on maternity flight suits and reparations for the least productive members of society can never hope to solve them.
