Yes. Yes indeed. At least you know your shit. Honestly, what is the point in lying to the people about going to the moon, unless it's to minimize God and creation theory and to discredit the Bible which clearly says we have a firmament above us. I personally believe in the Geocentric theory rather than Heliocentric. But, maybe that's for a different discussion altogether.
I wouldn't go that far. I think they made huge advances in the 60s, but Kennedy talked them into a corner they couldn't engineer their way out of without losing face, so they hired a filmmaker to do the moonlanding, possibly killed the Apollo 1 crew for not playing along, and used the rest of the budget for payoffs and other projects.
Another possibility is that Apollo 1 was the wakeup call that they were in no way ready to pull this off.
I wasn't alive back then so I'm not savvy to much. Just read a lot on the subject of the moon landing anomalies.
There's enough anomalies that it's at least in question for me, and the counterarguments are significantly less than convincing. That combined with the feds' proven track record of hoaxes and big lies make it hard to take their word for it.
