Blood cannot be used for convalescent purposes... YES

Convalescent plasma means plasma that comes from people who have recovered from an infection. This plasma contains antibodies against viruses. Antibodies are proteins that your immune system makes after you have had an infection, that can neutralize or kill viruses and help you to recover. Because those that have received the vaccine are now without antibodies, they are no longer eligible candidates.
