I've just received a death card in my mailbox, stating the death of a woman who lived in my street.
I have never heard of such a thing. Where do you live that this is a thing? (Region, obviously lol) is this a normal thing everyone knows about but me?

Ok.... Well in my world aquaintances of the deceased get phone calls and emails, and an obituary in the church newsletter and local paper informs anyone that might have been missed. I've never heard of a "death card"
