Several towns/cities along rivers have 'charity races' where people 'buy' a numbered plastic duck, and then the are dumped off a bridge. Then the 'owners' of the first ducks across the finish line get a prize. I imagine not all the ducks get removed and go feral.

Yep, happened in the place I grew up once a year. It's amazing that people bitch about pollution and then get together and throw plastic in the river. YAY humans.

Reminds me of the guy who dusted off and played an old racing game, and after lots of practice was able to best his late dad's about, but stopped at the finish to let his dad's ghost car win

I also like the story of the girl whose mom liked playing Animal Crossing. One day, years after her mom passed, the girl decided to start up Animal Crossing again, and found years worth of gifts and letters from her mom waiting for her.

Some poof bought a rubber duck like the manchild he is and thought of a sob story to get free karma.

Back seat cup holder?

[–] 3 pts

Of all the questions to ask, you've decided to question the existence of cars with rear cup holders??

I figured everyone else already asked the obvious ones. Now I want to know about this back seat cup holder.

Mine broke the other day. Since I have not replaced the radio in my dashboard, which supports the cupholders there, my only option was to use the one in the back between the seats on the footboard. I am pretty sad about it.

It wasn't a thing on older cars.

Wasn't there a container full of rubber ducks that fell into the Atlantic? They were washing up on beaches for years.

I Remember seeing one about a shipping container of large orange plastic Garfield phones , washing up for over a decade on some coastal stretch somewhere ....

He was breaking into people's homes, stealing their rubber ducks, keeping them as souvenirs
