What’s deeply disturbing is that it shows you their level of confidence in the idea that nothing will ever happen to them. It is inescapable now, with this admission, that they lied, they knew they were lying, and aren’t even trying to hide it 17 months later. This isn’t something they just discovered. They didn’t make some new discovery to come to this conclusion, it was already known and they just flat out denied it, flagrantly and blatantly lying to the American people and to the global population. This is like somebody lying about their skin being blue. They knew damn well. It wasn’t something that slipped past them, they knew. And they are going to get away with it. And they know it. That’s the disturbing part. We already knew they were a bunch of liars but now our suspicions have been confirmed that they are fully aware of the fact that they are completely insulated from repercussions. They know it. What, are Rand Paul and Ted Cruz going to yell at them for a few seconds? The fact that this story isn’t even gaining traction on right wing websites is even more disturbing. This is an amazing story that vindicates so many of us, this should be one of the biggest stories in a decade but we are just kind of letting it sit there. We are barely even poking it with a stick. Because we know there’s no point. That tells me the operation is over, they won, and we’re not even gonna fight back anymore.
