I’m a pretty good example of what I’m saying. Out of high school, tried college, it wasn’t for me. I got a job as a helper for an electrician. Did that until he trusted me to be on my ownafter a couple years. I opened my own shop. Started installing network cabling, got aquired by a bigger competitor, started doing network cable plant design work, this company got acquired buy a bigger public company. Left and went to work for a network service provider as an engineer then in sales. Did that a while now I am a leader in corporate IT.

It was will, determination, and luck, but I went from a minimum wage newbie to an executive… a straight, white, god fearing, conservative leader.

I don't know where you live but where I'm at you can't become a licensed electrician without... A license. It's illegal to work on electric installations without a state certified license, for obvious reasons...

That being said, you seem to believe that your real or supposed personal life experience applies to everybody and anybody... Flash news not all walk of life are the same, and shit happens quite often actually...

Obviously I left out some unimportant details.

I’m guessing you are not in a trade and not coming at this from personal experience. Or you are at the beginning of your career.

The least you need. The minimum requirement is the license. Any dipshit can take the state required training and take the test, I’m living proof. I’m saying that it took some time for my trusted advisor and mentor to tell me I had what it took to move on, and I did.

Stick with it, what ever you are doing. I know first hand how frustrating it is. The money comes with experience over time.

Yeah that license part you left out, without which the rest couldn't have been possible

Let me tell you a story; A couple of years ago, I had to work with a guy, who had to start his life all over again, from the bottom, and he'll go nowhere else. And you know why? Because he missed her stairway step and landed on the back of his head. Stupid accident. As a result he's been put in a coma for a couple of weeks. And when he woke up, he was diminished. He can no longer learn any procedure, he can no longer do the job he did before. And he was chess master and judo black belt, among other things. And he ended up shoveling shit, minimum wage for him, for probably the rest of his life.

And to me, real or supposed blue collar workers, shitting on minimum wage workers, saying like you say that they are lazy etc... Are pieces of shit in my book
