If people were really worried about the virus they would be wearing goggles. Undoubtedly the virus is sometimes getting in through the eyes. Their fixation on masks is irrational and not consistent. I also think its spread in public bathrooms when someone with covid shits flushes and a fine mist of covid and shit flies into the air and is inhaled by everyone who enters the bathroom for the next hour. But they don’t care. My dad is elderly. He complained alot about wearing the mask in stores because he would get winded from the lack of oxygen. I would say ‘fuck it, take the mask off unless they harrass you’. But he wanted to be a good little mask wearer. Then he passed out from lack of O2 and ended up in the ER. He could have caught covid in the filthy ER! Luckily he didn’t. One example of wear masks dont work. There needs to be a rational non-political approach to masks which I think can be useful in some situations. But there is no constructive guidance for the idiot masses on when and how masks can help and what their limitations are. Because they are not pushing it as an epidemiological tool — they are pushing it as religious garb. No mask = burn the witch! They are hysterical irrational fanatics at this point.
