Well, that’s bullshit too. There’s plenty of “science” that is “settled” that is perfectly reasonable. Doesn’t mean you can’t change things with amazing new discoveries that, say, we’re wrong about gravity, but it’s mostly settled. Plants need water. That’s pretty settled. Dogs can’t mate with cats. That’s pretty settled. There are probably millions of examples of “settled science” that is perfectly reasonable. We just look like fucking morons when we suggest that it’s impossible for science to be settled. But what else is new from the right? They repeat their slogans just like the left does.
