Technically we are LOUDLY broadcasting our location via radio waves of all kinds from all over the planet into a dark, cold and AWFULY FUCKING QUIET universe.
Some ask the question "why is the universe so quiet, are we the first ones here?".
My answer is "There is probably a VERY GOOD REASON to be quiet".

Venturing out into space before we are prepared was the entire plot of Star Trek:Enterprise.
The vulcans try to protect us, but we humans are bullheaded and determined to explore space as soon as a ship leaves drydock. Weapon systems on the ship aren't even fully configured.
Isn't it amazing how much subliminal messaging is contained in a lot of our mythology?

I mean, honestly it's gross because she is a jew aparently, but holy cow, that one sure did not come with a schnoz.
T'Pol and Hoshi Sato were both eye candy for the show.
