There is two sides to that. When you are young it is a great way to train your hand eye co-ordination, twitch response and so forth. One guy was even so good as a drivers in racing sims that Top Gear had him do pretty good lap times despite the fact he never ever drove an open wheel racing car or drove anything on that circuit. With that being said, as you get older, all of our personal goals collapse into really one goal: have a bunch of kids and raise them to adulthood. With that in mind, basically everything (including this site) are a waste of time. I'm not saying don't play games but eventually a tradeoff needs to be made and the responsibility of building a family needs to be onboarded.
