Funny, but fake. Ever seen the joists between floors? To go through the ceiling on one floor and protrude out 0.5" upstairs you have to go through the drywall on the ceiling, the full thickness of the floor joists, the subfloor of the upstairs, and the flooring of the upstairs.

  1. Drywall is 1/2-inch or 5/8.
  2. Joists are 8 or 12 inches.
  3. Subfloor is 3/4 at least
  4. Laminate/wood floor is at least 1 inch.

Add that shit up. Those niggers downstairs will need a 10-3/4 inch screw to go through all that and stick up 1/2 inch.
