They hide how communist a nation has become by doing this.

If you figure out how many people pay taxes who's income does not come from taxes you arrive at the number of people responsible for funding the entire federal budget. Which would make most people who work pretty uncomfortable.

How many companies have income not from taxes? That means no government contracts.

Why is the government charging tax to companies it renders services from, it's cyclical, totally pointless busywork.

They should remove the tax at the point of sale. The reason they don't do it that way is because it would become evident quickly how much money they are spending and who's money they are spending. Government contract comes in it should be tax free. Then if a company isn't paying any taxes they were basically already a government entity it's just more obvious now.

It's interesting to see after the vaccine mandates, which companies (and educational institutions) turned out to depend on government money. Students are going into lifelong debt to pay their tuition and it's not enough?

The government itself pays taxes. When a government agency purchases something they are still charged sales tax, believe it or not. Government agencies routinely pay assessments on real property. You should see the bill the California Department of Transportation has to pay the City of Los Angeles.
