I had good insurance which covered the medical expenses. Now please tell me about "How much should we sacrifice..." Explain who this "We" is of whom you speak. Then tell me who "sacrifices" to help other in such cases. You lost me here. Where is anything being sacrificed?
But do allow me to modify the question for perspective: "How much should we sacrifice to possibly extend the lives of our children who are cold, naked and unfed? Nothing."
