I disagree, yuri bezminov was allowed to do interviews with national television networks to promote awareness of soviet "active measures" to influence the public mostly by converting academics. Even after the fall of the soviet union popular media addressed the concerning signs of support for communism and socialism in universities and colleges. Where once the simpsons and others mocked the faux intellectuals wearing che guevara shirts and berets now the pretend they were always mocking the detractors of wokeism.
