Yep. Jumping spiders come immediately to mind for me. I used to bring them into the house, after playing with them for a bit, and let them loose. Later when I'd find them again, I'd play with them using a laser pointer. Red light worked pretty good to get them to follow it, but they went nuts over the green one. I later learned that they are the only spider that is known to be able to see colors, and that their intelligence is not far below that of an octopus.
