I imagine accidents like this would be how we would end up with the 28 Days Later-style zombie apocalypse versus Night of the Living Dead style.
I think I might prefer to have the shambling brain-eating kind, but maybe not. With the hyper-aggressive kind you can hear them coming. With the slow kind you could be sitting on a beach with nothing around thinking you're safe as you would see any shambling undead coming from any direction, but suddenly a hand comes up slowly out of the sand and grabs your calf and a mouth then pokes through and bites on the back of the calf.
