I hear ya. Just keep in mind (and I suspect you do), that it's a shell game. Poker players use the same type of ploy. It's a form of bluffing toward a "no hand" to loosen the tilt on the other player. Also, another way to say it is "bait and switch."

Ever notice every 80 years there's a massive "bail out"? Go way back ... American and French Revolution ... Civil War ... WW1+WW2 ... 9/11+Bailout. Don't blame yourself for having hope on these things, it's what all good men do. I is somewhat true though, that good folk don't have the "pleasure" of understanding psychopaths, which can make them naive to the situation. The only thing that will make you really become effective though is to learn to rip away the fake hope and aim for precision of yourself, soul, and mind. Read all perspective you can, including Q, TD speeches, but also the more "dark" stuff. Also read all the stuff that you're not supposed to read. I imagine you get some of this from Voat and probably shy away from reddit.
