If there's more to it then I'm not aware of it. It's very likely my snark and then cutting them off triggered their schizoid personality disorder and they assumed I'm a cop.

Being snarky is the name of the game here, but you're dropping insults like they're dollar bills at the club in GTAV. Insulting a mod like that will most likely get you a purple tag - in some subs they give them to you just for being in that sub.
