Sand Niggers implies Arab blood. The Arabs conquered the Middle East after 600 AD. Trier is Germany’s oldest city as, in 2,000 B.C. the Assyrians established a settlement here.

So, no.

Figured. Was never sure of their origins. Were they related to Scythians, or other Aryans?

All the members of my family tree in Germany are fair haired and very white. But we all have one odd feature.

So I arrived at the wee village near Langerkopf Mountain and being young, just knocked on a door of a nice home. A man in a suit answered the door. Germans dress in suits at home? Well, he looked at me, bobbed his head a bit to the left and right, then called out my last name! I said yes, and he stopped and asked, American? He ushered me inside and asked me to sit. He got on the telephone and made a few calls. In a few minutes, several other distinguished gentlemen came in. They all looked at me closely then sat dow quietly.

The first man said, "You are American. You must have questions". I replied, "First, how did you know my surname?" He replied, "You are a Langerkopf. All of us here are."

I said that I knew the name of the mountain was Langerkopf, but what do you mean? He said that Langerkopf means 'Long Head' and that everybody with my name had a longer head. Sure enough, I do and all of them did too. He then proceeded to tell me that it was a sign of being Assyrian. Say what!

He then told me some fabulous tale about how Germany was originally settled by ancient Assyrians. Told me the whole story. I'd never heard a word about this stuff. Well, after a long question and answer session, I went back to catch the evening train. All these years later, I looked it up and sure enough, those old guys were right.

PS: One question was why was the mountain called Langerkopf, was it because it was a long mountain, and he replied, "No, we named it long ago."
