In the 1950's my uncle came out of the navy with both arms completely covered. Wrist to shoulder.
Rare at that time (not now, these pagans and esp stoopid females).
He worked construction, had a bad fall, got converted and became a preacher.
He could never wear short sleeves again, and after the mid sixties I never saw those tattoos again.
THINK people.
You think this guy is going to have regrats at some point?
Man, I really don't get that.
It is legendary, people regretting what they looked like years ago, at some wedding, or in high school or college, why doesn't anybody learn.
But I had to learn the hard way too.
I’ve always wanted a tattoo. But there nothing I’d want permanently, so….
I get the appeal, though, and understand why they’re popular. People have to have foresight, and unfortunately, they just don’t. Getting one or two that can be covered up - a person can live with their annoyance in private. The dude up above….fucked for life. Except they won’t allow themselves to regret it, so everyone is will become the crazy one.
Why couldn't he wear short sleeves after becoming a preacher?
Back then it would have been too scandalous.
