It's very tough to see, I agree. The only way this improves is if we take initiative. It doesn't have to be every female you see. But, if you're around them for any extended time, just pull they aside and be direct but not overbearing with them. Make it clear that you just want what's best for everyone around you, even if that means briefly making them uncomfortable.
