Even if she's really converted to Christianity, it doesn't explain why her husband let Muslims build thousands of outposts all around the country.

I think he has done this to help stabilize the situation for Christians in Muslim majority states that are former Soviet republics. It's hard to understate how insensitive to their situation most Westerners are. I may not like that he has done this, but I can see how it affects those in areas not under direct control of Russia. See especially Uzbekistan.

I don't know if this is true or not but I listen to one of Putin New Year eve speeches. Sounds like a good man in a bad spot attempting to keep balance in his country. His speech showed more genuine Christianity to me then more half of priest in this nation. There are 25,000,000 Muslims in Russia. Putin is allowing them to worship may be a way to keep peace in Russia and relationship with other more Muslim leaning states. He has allowed all th Russian Christians churches to open. His war is being supported by the church. although the west and liberal media lie about it on a daily basis. He has a very good relationship with the church.

I agree with that. It also happening in the US in record numbers. The Catholic church is selling them the building so they can expand their conquest and indoctrinations.
