It's not about overcoming differences, right now the most difficult aspect of it all is to get White people to do effective work and make them understand that putting stickers on lamp posts and making Hitler edits on twitter is not going to get us where we need to be.
It's filtering out those who want to work towards results, from those who want to stay 'safe' and do a bare minimum just to feel pacified.
