That it's hurtling through the air at quite a high velocity/altitude, maybe.
But clearly this was considered when planning this flight- they knew they may have to make checks like this, so they built safety measures that would allow them to do this. Planning and forethought goes a long fucking way.
Still, I'd argue that you have to be at least a little bit insane to do this. I think most pilots are a little crazy.
