Women should know how to use a gun to defend themselves if they need to, but women should be taught to be be wives, mothers and homemakers. I'm sure many here on Poal will see this woman as an ideal woman to them, but I see nothing here that proves she would make a good and proper wife or mother. It seems more like she was raised by a father who didn't have a son and created the closest thing he could out of her.
Women need to be women not analogs to men.
I get it but I mean that's like saying girls shouldn't be allowed to go fishing. If your son or daughter has an interest in something, I say you should encourage. Doesn't mean she gets out of doing the dishes.

Totally valid statements. She should be encouraged if this is what she enjoys doing. I still think women should do womanly things rather than emulating men though.

Fair enough

Or maybe she was the on interested in
EDIT: damn clicked on the post button on accident
Yes you could be right; or maybe she was the one interested in shooting and her father supported her unconditionally in her pursuing her interest. I’m sure they also spend a lot of time together, which is always a good thing. Let’s not be hasty in our judgments.
