It's a hellish slum-country, run by cartels and corrupt government, laws are barely enforced, people get lynched literally every day (often on FALSE CHARGES- example, a guy has a problem with another guy, so he gets on a Brazilian social media app and starts a rumor that he raped a little girl. Within hours, he will be dead at the hands of a frenzied mob of savages, all carrying smartphones. I'm sure sometimes they get guilty fuckers and they get what they deserve, but I think that more often than not, the lynching victims are innocent of what they are charged with), and robbery is absurdly common.

If you see 2 guys on a motorcycle, wearing helmets, pulling up to you while you're on foot, there is a 100% chance you're about to be robbed at gunpoint. If you resist, they will shoot you over and over. I can provide you a hundred videos of incidents like this happening just over the last decade.

Savages with smartphones, that's what most of the world is. The people who live at the top, parasitizing the citizens, set up little enclaves that have a first-world "paradise" veneer. But as soon as you step off of that property, the chances of you being stabbed for no fucking reason go up about 30,000%.
