This is one of those songs, that I wish there were more of.. While the song itself, is to the point, it tells a story that needs to be told and yet, calls on all of us to do our part. All of those children who fought to save berlin, were scared out of their minds, yet continued to fight, knowing full well, what was coming. hollywood tends to make those sort of people look retarded, but had it not been for those boys, we would not be where we are today. think of all of the truthful information that was supposed to be burned or thrown away during the denazification process, during the allied and bolshevik takeover. many of those boys who did survive, made it their life's mission to pass the torch and see us into the next one hundred years. While, this may not be a strictly ww2 sub, i do believe that only we are capable of such thinking, and the resolve, coupled with intestinal fortitude, that it takes to walk it out.
