Interesting combo. When I eat pancakes like em buckwheat and large. I'll put a little bit of salted cream on each layer of pancake and then just pour a ton of hot maple syrup on them. I used to buy a gallon of maple syrup back in the day and it would cost $65. I can only imagine how much it costs now. Probably close to 100 bucks. It would last for 6 months but still it's a lot of money.
Maple syrup here is a rarity, you can still find it, but not in every shop. Might give it a try.
It's actually very good for you. Has a lot of antioxidants in it. I use it as seasoning in certain meals.
I remember last Christmas seeing a maple glazed ham recipe when I was looking for honey glazed ham recipe, which I made. If I remember by they will definitely make maple glaze this year.
