I'm all for burning the talmud, but please reconsider pouring gas on an open flame. Diesel is fine, gas is a little dangerous in my non-Florida man opinion.

I do gasoline all the time, it's the white gas (ie Coleman fuel) that will fk your shit up. That will ignite from 100 feet away

I prefer diesel when attempting to give the burn a bit more reason to stay lit, a lot safer especially if there are a lot of distractions around or alcohol is involved. White gas, you mean propane?

Careful with creosote, I read a while back it can be high cancerous especially if it comes in contact with skin.
