I'm inclined to agree with your assessment. I was on the skeptic train for a while with them, but feds don't usually show up and do good things, just bad ones.

It opened my eyes how basically any Nationalist politician is immediately labeled a fed in Europe. It's become like a word 'racist', they overused it and now it's lost it's power.
Also real feds have become a lot more obvious as they are, how to say, highly "inorganic".
