I find it interesting that the Arkansas community went to great length to avoid legal pitfalls regarding discrimination in the restrictive sale of property by forming this community as a "membership club" on existing private land. To the contrary, the black counterpart, Freedom, GA, is publicly discussed as a collective of individual buyers.

I seem to recall reading that Freedom is now defunct, but I wonder what would happen if a white buyer wanted to purchase acreage adjacent?
