It's the most recent way of getting whites in Canada to be willing self hating slaves. They scanned the ground and saw some coffins and immediately released this narrative of the Catholics mass killing natives with no evidence as far as I can see. There's a lot of shills on poal who buy into the whole narrative. These schools were open for like 90 years or more and were open during the Spanish flu and other pandemics. Also the graves were apparently marked but later the markers were removed some articles said.

Sorry, I missed answering your main question. I'm sure each death has a different tale and minor reason behind it. If you want to sum it all up, they were killed for being themselves.

We don't even know who is in those graves. Or even if they actually exist. They didn't excavate the site.

Up until the 1970s, natives were pulled out of their homes when they turned 5 or 6 and taken to residential schools across Canada (run by the Catholic Church, paid for by the government of Canada). They were beaten, tortured, starved and killed to try and make them lose their culture. The youngest survivors of this are in their 40s right now. They told people about this for decades and it was swept under the rug and nobody listened because they were "just stories made up by drunk Indians". Now the bodies are coming out and they're all kids. Now people are listening.

They made a claim with absolutely no evidence based on something completely normal: a graveyard. Graveyards exist, and some graveyards have been forgotten. There is absolutely zero evidence this is anything but that.
